Beersheba’s Midbarium Animal Park is adding a particularly colorful attraction this winter: An international exhibition of animals made from blocks, bringing a fascinating combination of nature, creativity, and imagination to the south—on a scale never seen here before.

As part of the exhibition, shown in Israel for the first time, dozens of giant life-sized animal installations will be displayed—from lions and giraffes to crocodiles, bears, wolves, and impressive sea creatures like whales and sharks. All the installations were built from LEGO blocks, and together they create a stunning visual experience that captivates both children and adults alike.

Behind the creations is international artist Duncan Titmarsh, considered one of the leading names in the world of block installations and a former Guinness World Record holder. The construction of the installations took thousands of hours and involved using around two million blocks—a result that is clearly felt on site.

Interactive Activity Areas

But the exhibition is not limited to just viewing. Alongside the giant sculptures, visitors are invited to actively participate in interactive activity zones: Free-building areas with blocks, car race tracks, and themed photo corners designed to turn every visit into a colorful keepsake—and a social media story.

Midbarium emphasizes that the exhibition fits into the park’s broader vision: Combining an enjoyable family experience with an educational message about responsibility and the preservation of nature and animals. The visit also naturally includes the park’s animal areas, making it a full day of fun for the whole family.

Entrance to the exhibition is included in the Midbarium ticket, and visits take place during the park’s regular operating hours. Due to high demand, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance.
