Garmin, imported to Israel by Ronlight, launched the Venu X1 – an ultra-slim smartwatch with a groundbreaking 2-inch display, lightweight design, and built-in speaker, microphone, and LED flashlight.
Unlike previous models that mainly targeted the athletic audience, the Venu X1 was designed from the start as a fully-featured everyday smartwatch, while retaining Garmin’s advanced sports, navigation, and health monitoring capabilities.
The Venu X1 is aimed at users looking for an elegant smartwatch with full connectivity and advanced health features, which can be worn comfortably at any moment of the day.
Its design is modern and refined, suitable for a wide range of usage styles. The bright and premium display gives it an elegant look, and the interchangeable straps allow the watch to be adapted for various needs, from a sporty appearance to a more formal design, making the new watch appealing to a broader audience.
The watch features a large 2-inch AMOLED screen, offering sharp and clear visibility even in direct sunlight. It comes in an ultra-slim design, only eight millimeters thick, with a strong sapphire lens and a powerful LED flashlight, in addition to the ComfortFit strap that allows comfortable and extended wear throughout the day.
The battery life of the watch matches the brand’s well-known capabilities, reaching up to eight days in smartwatch mode and up to 16 hours in active GPS mode.
Additionally, calls can be answered directly from the watch via the built-in speaker and microphone (requires Bluetooth connection to a smartphone), messages can be sent through Garmin Messenger or other apps, voice commands can be activated, and users can enjoy various other daily-use features, including a built-in calculator.
It also offers advanced health monitoring tools, including HRV (Heart Rate Variability) tracking, advanced sleep monitoring, energy level measurement, and more.
Alongside health features, the watch provides a wide range of sports and training apps. The new watch includes more than one hundred pre-installed apps, such as running, cycling, golf, strength training, and more. Additionally, the watch allows users to train with personalized Garmin Coach programs and provides advanced performance tracking tools, such as VO2 Max and Training Status and Training Load metrics. It also offers full navigation solutions, access to tens of thousands of golf courses, and more.
The built-in speaker and microphone allow making and receiving calls directly from the watch (when connected to a smartphone), using the phone’s voice assistant, and replying to texts via voice dictation. Additionally, voice commands can be activated directly from the watch – even without a phone connection – such as "Start a running activity" or "Set a timer for 5 minutes."
The Venu X1 is available in black and green. The recommended retail price is NIS 3,599.
