The Fattal hotel chain continues to expand in the Mediterranean region with the launch of the new NYX Thessaloniki Hotel, with a total investment of 22 million euros.

The hotel, which includes 130 rooms and suites designed in the contemporary spirit of the NYX brand, is located in a historic building in the city of Thessaloniki, in a central area close to the city's attractions and cultural hubs. The room prices we found on the website are around NIS 500, with some at NIS 488 per couple per night, all including breakfast. In the summer the prices are slightly higher, but still around NIS 600, depending on the dates. The hotel does not have a pool, but it does have a gym, bar, restaurant, and business lounge.

The opening of the NYX Thessaloniki Hotel strengthens the presence of the Fattal chain in Greece alongside the existing hotels NYX Esperia Palace Athens, SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Nafplio, and Leonardo Kolymbia Resort Rhodes, which added a new wing this year that includes a spa and luxury rooms, including rooms with private swimming pools. Together, these hotels highlight our commitment to growth and upgrading our operations in key destinations across the Mediterranean Basin.

“We believe in the city and its inherent potential”

Recently, a festive event was held to mark the official opening of the NYX Thessaloniki Hotel, attended by many senior figures from the tourism and hospitality industry in Greece. Among the attendees was Stelios Angeloudis, Mayor of Thessaloniki, who toured the hotel and expressed his impression of the modern design and unique experience offered by the NYX brand.

During the ceremony, Roni Aloni, CEO of Leonardo Hotels in the Mediterranean Basin, said: “Fattal Holdings chose to invest in Thessaloniki because we believe in the city and its inherent potential. It combines history, culture, gastronomy, and an exceptional atmosphere; all these create fertile ground for tourism development in the city.”

Aloni emphasized that the new NYX Hotel is the first Leonardo chain hotel in the city and definitely not the last. In addition, Aloni revealed that the Leonardo chain recently purchased a new five-star hotel in the Halkidiki region — a deal that marks the group’s further expanded presence in Greece.

The Mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelios Angeloudis, said in his speech that Thessaloniki is in a period of significant acceleration in development and in highlighting its tourism assets, and that the city’s tourism growth potential is broader and more tangible than ever, with much more to offer.

The Fattal hotel chain currently operates in 21 countries and manages 315 hotels in more than 135 destinations in Israel, Europe, and the Mediterranean Basin. In Greece and Cyprus, the chain includes 15 hotels (four of which are in advanced construction stages and will open during 2026).
