Imagine a long pool stretching to the edge of the hill, blurring the line between sky and sea, inviting you to immerse yourself in the view of the Mediterranean coastline. This is exactly the feeling you get during a preview visit at Gordonia Zichron Ya’acov – a new hotel by the Gordonia chain, which will officially open on February 1, 2026.

In an era when the local tourism industry faces many challenges, anyone who chooses to invest in building a new hotel demonstrates faith in the country and the future of the sector. Those who plan to build more than one hotel – as the emerging Gordonia chain is currently doing – are nothing less than visionaries. The chain, which began with a single hotel in Ma’ale HaHamisha, declares that by 2029 it will operate eight hotels from north to south, including Golan Beach on the Sea of Galilee, Eilat, Caesarea, Sapir Park, Netanya, and Olga Beach.

Gordonia Zichron Ya’acov, officially opening on February 1, 2026, will mark the starting point of this expansion. The moment you arrive at the hotel, which is in the final stages of construction, it is hard to ignore the beauty of the location: Its position on the Carmel Ridge offers a stunning view, and the outdoor pool is a major attraction – reportedly the longest in the country.

The hotel, as mentioned, is located on the Carmel Ridge, overlooking the Mediterranean coast. It features 141 designer rooms and suites, including rooms with private pools, deluxe suites with jacuzzis, and a presidential suite with a private pool. As with other hotels in the chain, guests will enjoy a half-board experience including breakfast and dinner, optional spa treatments, and the “Gordonia Lounge” with light refreshments and free drinks in the afternoon.

“Proper design is an expression of the human experience and a deep connection between people, space, and the environment,” says architect Asheret Uzri, responsible for the hotel’s design. The open spaces convey flow and harmony, inviting encounters between guests – so that every place in the hotel is not just a room or a pool, but a full experience for all the senses.

Luxury Spa and Watsu Pool

In addition, the hotel offers a restaurant with a seasonal local kitchen, two conference halls – “Gal” and “Adva” – and a synagogue on the lobby floor. The public area includes a large infinity pool, a two-story luxury spa with treatment rooms for individuals and couples, a Watsu pool, jet pools, a hammam, a dry sauna, a wet sauna, and a rain waterfall.

Meanwhile, in January 2027, Gordonia Golan Beach Hotel will open on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, on the site of the legendary Luna-Gal. The hotel will cover approximately 65 dunams and include 150 suites – most with private pools. Here too, emphasis will be placed on a private and intimate experience, with spa areas, a couples pool, a family pool, restaurants, an adults-only “Gordonia Lounge,” and a conference hall for events up to 500 people.

Gadi Friber, CEO of the Gordonia chain, notes: “We are turning a dream into reality and bringing Gordonia’s beloved hospitality concept to every part of the country… with new hotels that set an uncompromising standard of hospitality.”

Currently, the chain is managing over ten additional projects in various stages of construction, and by 2029 it is expected to complete the opening of five more hotels across the country, most of them with suites that include private pools. All hotels will maintain the chain’s design line and unique concept, which includes a pool, the “Gordonia Lounge,” and a luxury spa.
