Partner has launched the Partner tv+ service, a renewed and upgraded version of its television service, including a new app, an updated viewing interface, and a significant expansion of its content offerings. The company notes that this is a comprehensive upgrade of the entire service, including exclusive content created especially for its customers. According to data provided by Partner, the upgrade process for approximately 200,000 existing customers to the new service has already been completed automatically, without any change in existing equipment or subscription price.

At a press conference held recently with Partner CEO Avi Gabay, two new and exclusive channels that will inaugurate the Partner tv+ era were presented – “The Heroes” channel and the “True Crime” channel – along with an announcement about an upcoming original Israeli production.

“The Heroes” channel is defined as the first of its kind in Israel and is dedicated to stories of Israeli heroism, fallen soldiers, the wounded, and their families. The channel is expected to broadcast around the clock and to produce dozens of documentary films and unique content each year, including memorial films, studio programs, and filmed podcasts. According to Gabay, the project was born from the need to commemorate the fallen of the “Iron Swords” war and to give them a permanent television home. “Since the outbreak of the war, we have identified among bereaved families a desire to commemorate their loved ones in every possible way,” said Gabay. “From the agenda we have adopted – Israel before Partner – we decided to create a channel that would bring together the stories of the heroism of our fighters.”

In addition, Partner also announced the “True Crime” channel – a documentary channel that will broadcast crime and investigation content 24 hours a day. The channel will include rare footage, interviews, and revelations about crimes and mysteries from Israel and around the world, inspired by one of the most popular genres worldwide. Upcoming specials include “Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy,” which explores the circumstances surrounding the death of the “Friends” star, and “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy,” focusing on the allegations against hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. This channel is based on content acquisitions from international broadcasters such as NBCUniversal, BBC, ITV, and All3Media.

Partner tv+ currently includes about 70 basic channels and about 60 premium channels, along with a library of tens of thousands of hours of content. The service includes children’s, news, science, sports, and entertainment channels and combines familiar content from yes with original Israeli productions such as “Fauda,” “The Bouzaglos,” “The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem,” and “Bloody Murray.” In addition, movie channels from international studios such as Paramount, Sony, MGM, and BBC are also available. The service is based on an intuitive interface with features such as Catch-Up, recording, Start Over, personal watchlists, and a homepage with recommendations. The company notes that in the future, AI-based features will also be added to provide personalized recommendations.

The monthly price for the Partner tv+ service is NIS 69, while an app-only subscription without set-top boxes will cost NIS 59. Partner also offers bundled packages that include fiber internet and Netflix. The group’s VP of Marketing and Content, Assaf Aviv, stated that the upgrade is part of expanding the company’s digital service package: “Our customers are now getting a new television service with much more content and exclusive channels. Soon we will also add original Israeli productions and additional technological developments that will enhance the user experience.”
