The Jacob Hotels chain is adding to its portfolio two hotels in two different regions of the country: The first is Jacob Ohalo Kinneret Hotel on the lakefront, with 108 rooms, a restaurant, seven event halls of various sizes accommodating 20–240 people, and a terrace overlooking the Sea of Galilee. The hotel will undergo extensive renovations at a cost of about NIS 35 million, during which the rooms and existing facilities will be refurbished and 12 additional rooms will be added. A large swimming pool and a luxurious spa will also be built.
In addition, a few weeks ago the Jacob Mitzpe Ramon Hotel joined the chain, previously one of the hospitality complexes of the Selina network, in partnership with the Hagag Group. The hotel is located adjacent to the Nabatean Spice Route Quarter and near the Mitzpe Ramon Visitors Center, and includes 32 guest rooms, some with a private balcony and jacuzzi, 12 glamping tents, and a communal hospitality complex with authentic seating areas and an outdoor pool overlooking the desert.
The hotel is currently undergoing a comprehensive process of upgrading its infrastructure and facilities and redesigning its overall appearance, and additional new glamping tents will be placed there.
Assaf Ben Dov, Deputy CEO of the chain, says: "The addition of these two hotels enriched the chain’s mix of hotels and expands the target audiences and price ranges we offer. Until now, the hotels in the chain were divided into two: spa resorts and urban hotels. The addition of these two also adds hotels for nature and hiking lovers."
The Jacob Hotels chain currently numbers 9 hotels from Eilat to the Golan Heights. The chain began operating in 2013.
