This coming winter, direct flights to the city of Rovaniemi in Lapland will resume, starting January 31 and continuing through the Passover holiday period. The direct flights, operated by Israir, will allow Israeli travelers to enjoy Lapland’s magical winter experience, including encounters with reindeer, huskies, snowmobiles, and, of course, the thrilling experience of watching the Northern Lights.

The flights and winter vacation packages will be operated by the travel company Kishrey Teufa, which includes tours alongside accommodations in a selection of hotels in central Rovaniemi at accessible and convenient locations. This year, a renovated and upgraded hotel will also open, offering travelers a modern and comfortable hospitality experience.

In addition, the company offers a trip tailored for observant travelers, including adherence to kosher food and Shabbat, alongside Lapland’s popular winter attractions—allowing religious travelers to enjoy the full experience with peace of mind.

Beyond flights and vacation packages, Kishrey Teufa announced the opening of a new hotel in Lapland – Arctic Panorama Resort. The hotel, opening in December, will offer panoramic rooms with large windows designed for viewing the Northern Lights and will serve as a major attraction for tourists from around the world.

In recent years, Lapland has become a particularly popular destination among Israelis due to the rare combination of an active winter vacation, encounters with northern cultures, and exciting attractions for the whole family. Unique experiences such as the Northern Lights, Santa Claus Village, and thrilling winter activities make the destination especially attractive for families, couples, groups—and also observant travelers, thanks to customized itineraries with kosher food and Shabbat observance.

The price for a guided tour, including all activities and attractions at the destination for seven days, including flights and meals, starts from €3,280 per person. Until September 15, the company offers an additional free benefit of Kesher+ coverage, which allows cancellation up to 48 hours before the flight—with an 80% refund of the damage amount.

“We are excited to return to Lapland with direct flights from Israel,” said Nir Mazor, Chief Marketing Officer of Kishrey Teufa, “and to offer the Israeli public an unforgettable experience in one of the most magical destinations in Europe. This year we are not just providing flights and packages—we are also bringing real news with the opening of our new hotel, Arctic Panorama Resort, which will allow travelers from around the world to enjoy a unique combination of nature, Scandinavian culture, and luxury hospitality.”
