There is no moment more exciting than returning home with the first baby – pure happiness for the whole family. But behind the great excitement are also not-so-simple challenges: Sleepless nights, anxieties about initial care, and many questions that arise in the small hours. At a time when many partners are called up for reserve duty, the task of fresh parenthood becomes even more challenging. Against this background, the diaper and wipes brand "Huggies" by Kimberly-Clark initiated an innovative move: A collaboration with the "Wonder" platform that will provide new parents with counseling from a certified night nurse – completely free of charge.

The new service includes an hour of home guidance by a certified nurse, during which the nurse will provide tools and tips for the first nights with the baby – from feeding and bathing to sleeping and answering questions. If necessary, the night nurse will stay for up to 6 hours so the parents can finally rest.

The service is intended for parents of a first child up to one month old, and the goal is to help them make a smooth transition from the hospital medical framework to home. The "Wonder" platform was established in 2023 by a group of entrepreneurs led by Shlomi Lifshitz. It is a para-medical marketplace platform based on an app that connects certified professional nurses who are routinely employed in hospitals in Israel with patients who need treatments at home.

All nurses undergo a thorough interview and screening process, and the service is provided throughout the country. The professional director of Wonder is Lt. Col. (res.) Oshrat Gozlan, an expert in nursing policy and management, who served as the Chief Nurse of the IDF. Parents of a first child up to one month old can register for the activity on the Huggies website registration page. After registration, they will be contacted by the Wonder organization to check eligibility.
