There are places where, as soon as you hear about them, you immediately know it’s exactly the spot you dreamed of for the perfect vacation. Achziv, with its turquoise beaches and enchanting location in the Western Galilee, is about to receive an impressive addition: A new, modern holiday village that will combine everything people love about the area with a contemporary hospitality experience.

Metaylim Hotels has won the tender from the Mateh Asher Economic Company to renovate the old hostel and establish a modern holiday village, just 150 meters from the Mediterranean coast and adjacent to the Nahal Keziv Nature Reserve and the ancient Achziv archaeological site.

The chain announced that it won the tender from the Mateh Asher Economic Company to renovate the old hostel in Achziv and build a modern holiday village on a 20-dunam plot, just about 150 meters from the Mediterranean Sea. The project, with an investment of tens of millions of shekels, is expected to open in April 2027 and offer a unique hospitality experience for families and vacationers from across the country.

The new complex will include 60 accommodation units specifically designed for families, within walking distance of Achziv’s turquoise beaches, and near the Nahal Keziv Nature Reserve and the ancient Achziv archaeological site.

Design by Leading Experts

Architect Guy Arbel from Oren Architects will lead the architectural planning, while interior design will be managed by designer Hila Ben Yishai from Meiri Designers. The holiday village will feature a "relaxed western beach" style, with soft pastel colors, spacious layouts, and a calm and inviting atmosphere.

In accordance with the chain’s policy, the complex will also welcome dogs and will include barbecue areas, shaded lawns, and a variety of family-friendly activities. Its unique location on the Western Galilee coast will allow guests to combine sea adventures with tranquility in Achziv’s lagoons, nature hikes in the green Galilee, and exploration of historical sites, while also supporting the local business community.

Commitment to Northern Development

Bat Chen Yeshua, CEO of Metaylim Hotels, explains the importance of the project: "The Achziv project is much more than opening another hotel; it is a statement of our commitment to continuing the development of the north and promoting tourism in the Western Galilee, creating new employment opportunities, and strengthening the local economy, especially in these times."
