British tech company Nothing unveiled on 2/7 in London the Phone 3, its new flagship smartphone and the most advanced since it entered the market in 2022. The company’s CEO, Carl Pei, declared at the event that Nothing is "going all in" with the new device, which includes premium materials, impressive performance upgrades, and an operating system with new features that "raise the bar." One of the most prominent innovations is the Glyph Matrix – a small micro-LED display on the back of the device, replacing the traditional lighting array from previous models. Through it, you can view notifications, see app statuses or various indicators (like a clock, stopwatch, battery indicator) – all without turning on the main screen. The company has also released a development kit (SDK) that will allow developers to create custom widgets and games for the Glyph display. In the near future, a new feature is planned that will show caller ID with a long press on the Glyph button.

Additionally, the Phone 3 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, with 1.5K resolution and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits – the company’s brightest and sharpest screen to date. Under the hood, you'll find the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip with improved performance (36% faster compared to the previous model), 12 or 16 GB of RAM, storage of up to 512 GB, and a 5,150mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The camera system includes four cameras with 50MP sensors – including a selfie camera, a periscope camera with optical stabilization, and 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.

The operating system is Android 15, with platform updates for five years and security updates for seven. Among the new software features: Flip to Record – a long press on a dedicated button and flipping the device will start recording and transcribing a conversation or idea for future documentation. Pre-orders will open on July 4, and the official sale will begin on July 15. In Israel, the device is expected to arrive soon through official import by the Bug network.

Nothing also launches its first Over-Ear headphones: Headphone (1)

Alongside the smartphone, Nothing also announced a completely new product in the audio category – its first Over-Ear headphones, named Headphone (1). The headphones were developed in collaboration with British audio company KEF, known for its Hi-Fi products, and offer a unique design with transparent elements associated with Nothing, including durable metal and plastic components, comfortable and grease-resistant cushions, and adjustable telescopic arms.

Instead of a touch interface, the company integrated three physical control components – Roller, Paddle, and Button – providing precise control over volume, tracks, and noise cancellation (ANC) modes. The headphones feature a specially tuned 40mm dynamic driver, support high-resolution audio (Hi-Res Audio), USB-C connectivity, and a 3.5mm input for wired audio.

The Headphone (1) supports spatial sound with real-time head-tracking, an advanced adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) system, and AI-based ENC microphones for clear telephony – even in noisy environments. Maximum battery life is up to 35 hours of playback, with fast charging that provides up to 2.4 hours of listening after just 5 minutes of charging. They also support quick pairing, dual-device connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.3.

At the center of the interface is a customizable button, including a Channel Hop feature that enables quick switching between audio apps. Voice commands can also be activated, or the Nothing Essential Space app can be launched. The headphones come with an advanced 8-channel equalizer through the Nothing X app.
