Following the recent Iranian missile attack on Israel, Pelephone announced a series of measures to support citizens who were directly or indirectly affected by the security events. The company will provide free repair service for mobile devices — for all citizens, even if they are not its customers — through a special service vehicle that will visit evacuation centers for citizens who were harmed or evacuated from their homes.
In addition, Pelephone has opened a dedicated internal emergency center to handle inquiries from IDF soldiers, security personnel, and company employees serving in the reserves. The emergency center is intended to provide a quick response and personal assistance when needed, in light of the increasing challenges on the ground.
"As a leading cellular company, we have a moral responsibility to assist residents during times of crisis and to ease, even slightly, their hardship," said Kinneret Reuvenov, VP of Private Customers at Pelephone. "Our repair unit will go wherever needed, with the most professional technicians who will provide excellent and sensitive service, just as we at Pelephone know how to do."
Pelephone's service vehicles began operating at the outbreak of the fighting about a year and eight months ago and have since provided assistance to tens of thousands of soldiers at more than 150 locations — in bases, open areas, and combat zones across the country.
