With color-changing front panels: LG expands its refrigerator line

LG Electronics and Brimag, the official importer of LG home appliances in Israel, are launching two new refrigerator models in Israel: LG InstaView MoodUP™ – a 4-door refrigerator that combines advanced technology with a stunning design experience and personalization for the modern lifestyle, and the InstaView™ refrigerator with a bottom freezer – a compact model suitable even for small spaces.

The new LG InstaView MoodUP™ refrigerator is much more than just a fridge – it’s a groundbreaking design concept that brings color, sound, and dynamic vibes into the kitchen. The LED front panel colors of the refrigerator can be controlled and changed according to mood, season, event – or simply the inspiration of the moment.

Using the LG ThinQ™ app, users can choose from 22 colors for the upper doors and 19 colors for the lower ones, creating 174,724 possible combinations – including preset configurations inspired by the seasons, musical styles, themes, pop art, and more.

Beyond color control, the refrigerator includes a built-in Bluetooth speaker that allows music to be played directly from a mobile phone, tablet, or computer – with the ability to sync the lighting colors to the music. The ThinQ™ app also offers playlists tailored for different moods – from quiet cooking to kitchen parties. Ultimately, it all depends on the user’s mood.

The experience is further enhanced by smart features such as motion sensors that turn on the light when approaching the fridge, colorful visual alerts when the door is left open, and night lighting on the freezer door. When the LED system is turned off, the refrigerator presents an elegant appearance in shades of gray and white that fits any design style. Beyond aesthetics, it is equipped with advanced technologies for cooling management, energy saving, a smart voice interface, usage pattern recognition, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for easy control through the LG ThinQ™ app.

Alongside the LG InstaView MoodUP™, the LG InstaView™ model with a bottom freezer is also introduced in Israel for the first time – a refrigerator with two relatively narrow doors, suitable even for small kitchens or compact spaces. This model integrates LG’s InstaView™ technology – a door that turns transparent with a knock, allowing a peek inside without opening the door. This helps maintain a consistent internal temperature, reduces cold air loss, and improves energy efficiency.

A unique addition: It is possible to place two identical refrigerators side by side to create an extra-wide fridge – a solution that offers design flexibility and double storage for large families or cooking enthusiasts. Additionally, the refrigerator features flat doors that continue the kitchen cabinet line.
