Noam Bedein is a travel photojournalist, explorer, and Israeli storyteller who has led NGOs on the frontlines and brought Israel’s most pressing stories to international audiences. From documenting rocket fire and the human drama on the Gaza border to navigating Israel’s natural wonder, the Dead Sea, his work fuses adventure with advocacy, transforming stories of struggle into narratives of resilience and hope. Following the Abraham Accords, Bedein expanded his journeys across the Gulf, promoting water diplomacy and cross-cultural collaborations. His explorations then carried him deep into wildlife and wilderness - and most recently into wellness - after a transformative yearlong expedition across North and Central America, immersing in wild nature destinations and pioneering models of healing, conservation, and sustainable tourism. Bedein has now returned to Sderot, focusing on the Gaza border area as a global hub of resilience and innovation, where recovery efforts and civic leadership are redefining the region’s future. He also seeks to highlight the urgent need for rehabilitation and healing in Israeli society, exploring wellness tourism around Israel’s water treasures to demonstrate how conservation and health tourism can foster hope and renewal. Internationally, he engages in wilderness retreats for victims of October 7, documenting nature-based therapies and giving voice to those most in need of healing. Together, these intertwined themes of resilience, sustainable tourism, and wellness reflect Israel’s unfolding journey of recovery and strength.
