Jewish Democrat Rep. Brad Sherman has denied looking at pornography during a flight after a photo was taken of him looking at some racy images on his iPad circulated online last week.

The California congressman claimed he was on social media, and the algorithm caused photos of women in their underwear to appear on his screen.

After another passenger took photos of Sherman and his iPad, the pictures were reportedly first released on the X account ‘Dear White Staffers.’

The social media account, which shared the post to over 13 million accounts, accused Sherman of looking “at porn on his iPad during a flight.”

Sherman denied the accusation and his spokesperson told the New York Post, “This was nothing more than scrolling through Twitter, and unfortunately Elon Musk has ruined the Twitter algorithm to give people content that they don’t ask for or subscribe to.”

“If you have to fly across the country, you look at a lot of stuff on your tablet,” Sherman charged,” the 71-year-old told Punchbowl News. “I must’ve looked at more than 1,000 posts,” he said, adding “If i see a picture of a woman, might I look at it longer than a sunset? Yeah.”

Rep. Sherman demands Trump release the Epstein files

The congressman has also used the situation to spread the call for US President Donald Trump to release the Epstein files. He released a meme version after Donald Trump Jr. responded “Yikes” to the photos.
