Avner Netanyahu, the youngest son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, postponed his wedding a third time - with friends saying that he decided to “take a break” from Amit Yardeni, Ynet reported on Friday.
Netanyahu was originally meant to tie the knot in November, but the Gaza war pushed the couple to delay the wedding until June 2025. Operation Rising Lion began two days before the couple were set to wed, and the wedding was again postponed due to the 12-day war with Iran.
Over 1,000 guests had been expected to attend the June wedding at the Roni Ranch in the Sharon region.
In April 2025, the two celebrated in a traditional henna ceremony at Moshav Mazor, according to N12.
After the wedding was delayed in June, no new date was set, though many predicted it would take place in August.
Friends of Netanyahu said that he had decided to “take a break” from his partner and has moved into a separate apartment, Ynet reported. The couple allegedly had a fight, causing the sudden split, according to N12.
Always the fiancé, never the husband
This is not the first time that Netanyahu has shied away from the chuppah, as the 29-year-old reportedly ended an engagement to a partner of three years in 2022.
