Yisrael Beytenu head Avigdor Liberman's warnings on Iranian actions against over Sukkot and to "stay in protected areas" are misleading, an Israeli official said on Friday.
The official added that Liberman is "cut off from all security information and really knows nothing."
Liberman posted on X/Twitter on Friday that "anyone who thinks the incident with Iran is over is mistaken and misleading," referring to June's 12-day war.
Liberman warns about Iranian action over Sukkot
"The Iranians are already working diligently. They are strengthening their defenses and military capabilities every day," he added.
"Their activities at the nuclear sites have resumed. It's no coincidence that leading countries have reinstated the 'snapback' sanctions mechanism against the regime.
"It seems that this time the Iranians are trying to surprise us," Liberman wrote.
"Celebrate Sukkot, enjoy time with family and friends, but be cautious and near protected spaces. This government cannot be relied upon. Until we fix the damage they've done, we must rely on the IDF and on ourselves."
This is a developing story.
