Palestinian Islamic Jihad claimed to have found the remains of one of the three remaining Gaza hostages in the central Gaza Strip, according to a statement shared on their official social media on Monday evening.
The remains were found in areas controlled by the IDF, PIJ stated.
Qatari outlet Al Jazeera reported that the remains of a hostage had been found by PIJ in an earlier report on Monday.
The remains were located north of Nuseirat, according to Al Jazeera's report.
The hostages remaining in Gaza are Thai national Sudthisak Rinthalak, St.-Sgt.-Maj. Ran Gvili, and Dror Or.
