Terror attack on Jordanian border

A Jordanian humanitarian aid truck driver killed two Israeli soldiers who were coordinating humanitarian aid at the Allenby Crossing on the Jordanian border on Thursday.

The assailant was en route to delivering aid to Gaza.

As soon as he entered the Israeli side of the crossing, he began carrying out the attack. He opened fire before reaching the inspection area, first exiting his truck, firing at all the people in the area, and then stabbing them.

An Allenby Crossing security guard, shortly after arriving at the scene, killed the attacker.

The IDF decided, following the attack, to halt aid entering Gaza from Jordan until all investigations into the attack are completed, Army Radio said.
