Hundreds of Iranian drones were intercepted by the Israeli Air Force since the beginning of Operation Rising Lion, the IDF announced on Wednesday.
Aerial Control Array personnel were deployed across Israel and are responsible for detecting suspicious aerial targets both inside Israeli airspace and out.
Hundreds of drones were successfully intercepted as part of the cooperation between the Aerial Control Array, Aerial Defense Array, and attack helicopter squadrons.
Fighter jets and attack helicopters worked to intercept targets that posed a threat to Israel over the Middle Eastern skies. Most of the drones that were launched from Iran were intercepted outside of Israel.

The IAF and Navy announced on Thursday that they have intercepted hundreds of Iranian drones amid the war, which are included in the 95% figure.
"Observation units in the IAF and the Navy are operating in close coordination with IDF aerial defense arrays, aircraft, missile ships, and other security personnel to defend the skies of the State of Israel around the clock," the IDF said.
The IDF is also operating to intercept surface-to-surface missiles that have been fired in recent days toward Israeli territory.
