The National Library is hosting a variety of performances and activities during Hanukkah as part of its Magic Hat Festival.
Original productions and beloved children’s shows will be presented, including: Princess Avigail and the Emotion Factory – a musical performance starring Yarden Bar-Kochva, Yantz Levi, and The Revolution Orchestra; Hasketus, the children’s podcast by Stav Pelti-Negev and Tamar Hochstetter; The Rhythm Tray – Nathan Alterman’s songs for young and old; Legend of Cloth – a production by the National Library and Sippur Kis Theater; Sinbad and the Magical Treasure, a performance in Arabic; The Magic Letter and The Place You Can’t Fall From – productions by the National Library and the Beersheba Theater.
Tours for families with children
In addition, there will be guided tours specially tailored for families with children aged 5–10, combining a fun family experience with interactive activities.
Included is a visit to the permanent exhibition and a rare peek into The Treasure – the Library’s collections storage. Every child will receive a personal activity kit, “A Library Experience,” with riddles, games, and surprises, allowing them to explore and discover the library through their own eyes.
