At least one person has died, and fourteen others have been injured, in multiple vehicle accidents across Israel on Thursday night.

United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom responded to reports of a car accident on Highway 65 in northern Israel near the Sargel Junction, close to Afula, according to the organizations.

Upon arrival, first responders attempted to perform CPR on a 25-year-old injured in the crash, but eventually declared his death on site.

"We arrived with an MDA ambulance that we staffed at the severe scene, where we found several victims with various injuries after a traffic accident involving four vehicles," United Hatzalah Gilboa region supervisor Mandy Itzkowitz said.

"Unfortunately, after advanced resuscitation efforts and due to the nature of the injuries, MDA paramedics were forced to declare the death of a 25-year-old victim at the scene."
