A passing vehicle hit an activist today during a protest taking place at Chords Bridge, Jerusalem, on Wednesday.
According to reports from the scene, the vehicle continued driving after hitting the protester, and police officers are conducting searches to locate the offending vehicle.
The protest was to call for support for wounded soldiers, including combat veterans suffering from PTSD, Israeli media reported.
Police later located the suspected hit-and-run driver near Abu Ghosh and took him in for questioning after he fled the scene.
The victim was evacuated for medical treatment and is in a mild condition.
This is a developing story.
