Israel Police officers received reports about the "unusual incident" with activists also causing a disturbance of public order, property damage, and distributing stickers.

Police officers arrived at the scene, arresting six suspects, who were transferred for interrogation at the local police station.

According to an initial police assessment, the six suspects are left-wing activists who are known to authorities due to previous protest events.

The police are likely to release the suspects under restrictions, including a ban on entering the area of the Likud HQ.

What is Qatargate? Why did activists dress as Qatari sheikhs dropping money?

The activists chose to dress as Qatari sheikhs dropping money due to accusations linked with the Qatargate affair.

The scandal stems from an ongoing investigation into alleged transfers of Qatari funds to several staffers in the Prime Minister's Office.

The Likud HQ is tied to the scandal because Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu leads the party.
