A man succumbed to his wounds after being hit by a passing train near Ganot junction on Sunday morning, according to Magen David Adom.

The man fell from a bridge onto the tracks south of the HaHaganah train station in Tel Aviv, causing an hour-and-a-half delay in trains across Israel, Israel Railways said.

Israel Railways announced that the trains have returned to full operation after Israel Police allowed partial train movement from southern Tel Aviv, operating with one track instead of two, following the incident.

In a separate incident, six people were injured in a three-vehicle pileup in Rosh Ha’ayin. Magen David Adom personnel treated a 58-year-old man who was seriously wounded, a 45-year-old woman in moderate condition, and four others with minor injuries.

All six were transported to Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva for further treatment.
