The IDF announced that Cpl. Ermias Bahatal, 18, died while serving at a logistics training base in southern Israel on Thursday.
Israeli media reported that Bahatal had collapsed and died from an allergic reaction.
He was from Ma'ale Adumim and was completing his mandatory service.
The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation, and a medical inquiry is underway.
