Nearly 30 ultra-Orthodox draft dodgers were detained on Monday while trying to leave Israel and make the pilgrimage to Uman, Ukraine, the Ben-Gurion Airport authority said in a statement.
According to the officials, the draft dodgers were detained at the airport and transferred to the Tel Hashomer recruitment center, where they will face trial or disciplinary action.
