The new graduates were recognized for their academic excellence, personal resilience and deep commitment to justice and society, especially in the face of one of the most challenging and painful times in Israel’s history.

Established nearly two decades ago in memory of Zvi Meitar z”l, the Center continues to reflect his enduring values: intellectual curiosity, legal integrity and a strong belief in the transformative power of education. His legacy lives on through the Center’s faculty, students, academic partners and the Meitar family.

With a rich academic environment rooted in interdisciplinary research, global collaboration, and legal scholarship of the highest standard, the Meitar Center helps shape the next generation of legal scholars and public intellectuals, both in Israel and worldwide.

The Buchmann Faculty of Law serves as a dynamic and supportive home for the Meitar Center fostering not only academic rigor, but also a values-driven community that encourages innovation and excellence.

The new graduates stand as a living testament to the Center’s mission and to the values that were close to Zvi Meitar’s heart.
