After US President Donald Trump told Fox News on Saturday that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores were taken to a ship after their capture by American forces, the president shared an image of Maduro aboard the USS Iwo Jima.
Earlier, in the interview, Trump noted that the forces that captured Maduro suffered a few injuries and no deaths.
The interview comes after Trump confirmed that morning that Maduro, along with his wife, had been captured amid airstrikes across Venezuela.
