Thailand has not reached a ceasefire agreement with Cambodia, and the Thai military will continue fighting on the disputed border, caretaker Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told reporters on Saturday.

“I want to make it clear. Our actions this morning already spoke,” Anutin wrote in a post on Facebook.

Earlier, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who has been a mediator in peace talks between Thailand and Cambodia, said the two countries should cease hostilities starting Saturday evening.

This comes after US President Donald Trump announced that the two countries had agreed to “cease all shooting," on Friday.

This is a developing story.
