Five people were hospitalized after a helicopter crashed adjacent to Huntington Beach, in southeastern Los Angeles, on Saturday.
Videos taken by bystanders showed helicopter wreckage in palm trees alongside the road.
A police spokesperson told a local news outlet that two people exited the helicopter alive, but three people on the street were injured.
Officials have not confirmed any details as to the cause of the crash.
Emergency crews responded at the scene, with five people transported to the hospital for treatment, the city of Huntington Beach's official social media confirmed.
'Cars and Copters' event
The city also confirmed that the helicopter was associated with a "Cars and Copters" event scheduled for Sunday.
The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the incident.
