Lorena Khateeb, an Israeli Druze, is a media professional, social entrepreneur, and longtime activist in Israeli public diplomacy in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. She hosts the radio program Voice of the Druze and the segment “The Arabic Voice” on i24NEWS. She also manages projects at the nonprofit organization Together – Vouch for Each Other, and focuses on social and educational initiatives to bridge gaps.

Since October 7, she has concentrated on public diplomacy in the Arab and Western world, leading delegations to the Abraham Accords countries and the US. She initiated the project Arabic in the Living Room to teach Arabic to residents of communities in the Gaza envelope and the north. Khateeb established Druze on the Frontline of Public Diplomacy initiative to teach teenagers about Israeli public diplomacy. Khateeb hosts delegations of opinion leaders at her home to show them the real situation in Israel. She has also hosted delegations from Gulf countries, all while facing challenges as a member of a traditional society.
