Firefighters in the Northern District responded on Saturday to a number of fires, including the burning of four trucks and two trailers in a parking lot in Marar, and a few hours later, a lorry burned in the same location.
A few hours after the vehicles were reported, another fire broke out in the village of Buena Nugidad, which spread to nearby open areas.
Earlier this morning, a fire also broke out in a truck parking lot in Mughar, where four trucks and two trailers caught fire.
Early morning fires
Fire crews from the Tiberias station conducted prolonged firefighting efforts and managed to prevent the flames from spreading to other vehicles parked nearby.
Later in the day, a backhoe also caught fire at the site, while seven fire crews from the Tiberias and Nof al-Galil stations worked to extinguish a large waste fire in the village of Bueina.
The fire spread to nearby open areas and required prolonged action by the firefighters until control was achieved.
