The Israeli Embassy in Vienna has lost contact with two Israelis, the Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Mali and Liel Yahalomi, an Israeli mother and daughter, have been missing since Friday.

The two should immediately reach out to their family, the embassy's emergency hotline at +436763672304, or the local police, the embassy said in a Facebook post.

80-year-old Israeli goes missing in Vienna after boarding wrong flight

Mali and Liel Yahalomi's disappearance follows an incident in May, when an 80-year-old Israeli man went missing in Vienna after boarding the wrong flight at Ben-Gurion Airport, according to an N12 News report.

Meir Forman was supposed to fly to Munich, Germany, but accidentally boarded a flight to Vienna instead, whereupon he wandered out of Vienna's airport and was found about three days later following a weekend search by Austrian and Israeli authorities.

N12 cited Austrian welfare officials, who noted Forman apparently suffered from severe confusion and memory loss, having arrived in the city without a phone or any financial means.
