An amazing experience earlier today in the Oval Office with President Donald J. Trump. (belatedly) marking "Education and Sharing Day, USA" in honor of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of sacred memory. And a suitable opportunity to offer heartfelt greetings for the Jewish New Year.

President Trump reiterated his strong support for Israel and the Jewish community. He was presented with a replica of a plaque presented to his father, Fred C. Trump, in 1956 when he showed great generosity to a community of Holocaust survivors. He was also presented with a specially designed silver charity box, engraved with the words "We make a living by what we earn. We make a life by what we give," which he greatly appreciated.
