United States Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance announced the exciting news of their growing family on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) this Tuesday.
“We are very excited to share that Usha is pregnant with our fourth child, a boy. Both Usha and the baby are doing well, and we look forward to welcoming him in late July,” Vice President Vance shared.
In their statement, they also expressed gratitude to military doctors and White House staff: “During this joyful and hectic time, we are especially thankful for the military doctors who provide excellent care for our family and for the staff members who work hard to ensure we can serve our country while enjoying a wonderful life with our children.”
Vice President Vance and his wife met while attending Yale Law School and are currently parents to Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel, according to the White House government website.
Vance family recent controversies
The couple's joyful announcement comes amid recent controversies they have faced as a family.
Since 2024, Nick Fuentes has repeatedly made derogatory remarks about Vance's wife, Usha, using offensive slurs and calling Vance a "race traitor" for marrying her.
In December 2025, Vice President JD Vance condemned white nationalist Nick Fuentes and his supporters, stating, “Anyone who attacks my wife… can eat s***.” He argued during an interview with UnHerd that Fuentes's influence on the right is overstated.
